Same Mission, New Name.

This exciting change is propelled by our second piece of big news: We have received approval to begin offering our first accredited Master's degree, an MA in Bible and Ministry!

Our name is changing to better reflect the education we offer, yet who we are remains constant. We are still the same Emmaus providing uncompromised Biblical teaching as we pursue our mission to educate and equip learners to impact the world for Christ. 

Becoming Emmaus University

This new updated name communicates the distinctive value that Emmaus brings to higher education: the opportunity for students to enjoy an educational experience that emphasizes Christ-Centered Education, Uncompromised Biblical Teaching, and Valuable Professional Degrees. The Bible will remain the core of our educational model; we continue to believe that studying and knowing the Bible is essential for all of faith and learning—Scripture speaks to every program offered at Emmaus. This is what sets Emmaus apart and what we continue to hold sacred.

The updated name, Emmaus University, communicates the complementary nature of our programs, with every student enjoying a major in bible alongside a professional program of choice. This coupled with our advance into graduate studies gives us the confidence to pursue this change with the continued vision of being flourishing, relevant, and accessible as a trusted name for transformational learning rooted in biblical truth.

We are resolved to continue as an institution rooted in the Bible, and we remain committed to our mission to glorify God by educating and equipping learners to impact the world for Christ through faithful and effective service in their ministries, professions, and communities.

The rebranding process will begin immediately and continue over the next several months, until complete. Our goal is to begin doing business as Emmaus University on January 1, 2025.
